Bringing Advanced Training to the Community Meet Dr. Kara Kaltenbrun

Dr. Kara Kaltenbrun is proud to return to her hometown to provide thoughtful, patient-centered dental care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Spanish in 2019, with immersive experience living in Argentina, Cuba, and Spain, before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery at Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2023.
Known for her detail-oriented approach and calm, approachable demeanor, Dr. Kaltenbrun prioritizes clear communication and individualized treatment planning. She works closely with each patient to create comprehensive solutions that support long-term oral health, function, and esthetics.
Dr. Kaltenbrun has a strong interest in digital dentistry and has completed advanced training in CEREC technology, allowing for efficient, precise, and comfortable care. She is especially focused on creating a positive experience for anxious patients, emphasizing a gentle approach and clear communication to help patients feel at ease.
She is also currently pursuing her MBA, further strengthening her ability to deliver efficient, patient-centered care and continuously improve the overall patient experience.

Community and Outreach:
Dr. Kaltenbrun is actively involved in mission-based dental care and regularly participates in outreach trips to Guatemala, providing treatment to underserved communities.
Outside the Office:
Dr. Kaltenbrun married her husband, Jordan Miller, in January 2026 at Holy Name and now lives just outside Howards Grove. She enjoys traveling, playing the flute and piano, rollerblading, and spending time with her black cat, Lucy.
